Research Interests

My current research focus is on Early Paleozoic biostratigraphy, petroleum potential and regional thermal maturation studies in the Hudson Bay and Foxe basins. In addition, I lead the Industrial Minerals (Limestone) project, focused on the Late Ordovician limestones of Southampton Island, Nunavut.

In the past, my research has included work on stratigraphy, paleontology, sedimentology and data analysis of the Arctic, Canadian Cordilleran, and Appalachian margins, as well as interior basins in Canada. I have participated in projects to study Early Paleozoic tectonic and sea-level events in Canada, as well as studies of the Triassic stratigraphy in western North America and China.
